| Abstract | A symposium to provide a platform for gaining knowledge and discussing the challenges to improved monitoring was opened at Hilton Addis here yesterday. According to the symposium, there is a momentum to improve monitoring systems because the international community is preparing indicators for post-2015 MDGs including those for water, sanitaion and hygiene and because new information and Communication Technologies (ICT) offer opportunities for faster and more efficient monitoring.
