Abstract

This training report presents proceedings of the training and engagement targetting youth to lead innovations in IWRM, sanitation, hygiene, climate change and water governance delivered by the Water Resources Institute of the Ministry of Water and Environment, in partnership with IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre (IRC Uganda) and in collaboration with Youth-Go-Green. The Ministry of Water and Environment, through the WRI as convenor developed the programme content and mobilised technical resources including material and facilitators to meet the learning and advocacy needs of the target constituents (youth). IRC under its commitment to facilitate dialogue, learning and documentation on relevant issues including WASH and climate change adaptability provided funding to fully cover all operational costs of convening the 2 days training workshop and facilitating participants to attend.
The purpose of the training was to equip water practitioners and professionals with knowledge on Integrated Water Resources Management for Climate Change Adaption.
