Programme Officer | IRC Ghana
Afua Pomaa Anguah Dei joined IRC Ghana in 2025 as a Programme Officer. She is passionate about creating inclusive and sustainable solutions that improve lives and strengthen communities. With a strong background in community development, stakeholder engagement, and social policy, Afua has worked with NGOs, international organisations, and government partners across Ghana and Europe to advance impactful development initiatives.
Her work includes strengthening WASH systems, promoting equitable access to safe water in households, and supporting sustainable livelihoods through community-led approaches.
Afua holds a Master’s in Cooperation and Development from the University of Pavia in Italy, a master’s in social policy studies from the University of Ghana, and a Bachelor’s (Hon.) in Social Work from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
A member of the Ghana Association of Social Workers, Afua is committed to advancing inclusive sustainable development.
